Epipremnum

Epipremnum is a climbing plant genus also known as dragon ivy or devil's ivy. Plants from it are often confused with Philodendrons or Scindapsus.

In the wild, Epipremnums may well grow over 40 feet tall, but that is a lot less likely as a houseplant. Moreover, most Epipremnums are relatively easy to care for in the living room climate. Just make sure that the humidity does not fall too far below 50%, because these tropical plants do not like that.

The Epipremnum is often a good plant to start with. With plants with variegata in the leaves, care will be a little more difficult, but generally care is fairly easy.
